Geo-block

This is the single largest reason an entry in this index has an unread cell in it. Several of these sites answer a request from outside Ghana with a redirect to a block page, and a few of them serve a block page that looks like a working site, complete with navigation and game names that belong to the block template rather than to the product.

It is not the same thing as being unavailable. The book is trading perfectly well in Accra; what cannot be reached is the page an outside reader would have to read to state a figure. Filing that as an absence would put words in a company's mouth, so the index files it as unread and says so in the cell.

A related trap is a site that answers but renders nothing, because the page is assembled in the browser rather than sent as text. That is not blocking at all, and telling the two apart matters: one is a decision by the operator about who may see the product, the other is a technical detail about how the page is built.
