How much does the book take out of a football price?
A margin is what separates two products rather than two opinions, and it is the field this index is most careful with. Only a handful of these figures were computed the same way, so the thread files them in two groups and refuses to sort the two together.

What this thread does not say
Every book on this thread that could answer does publish something. Five cells could not be established at all, which is a fact about the research rather than about the company. One entry is marked as not applicable, because the question does not exist for that product.
None of the four states is a blank, and that is deliberate. A blank cell reads as an oversight, and readers correctly stop trusting a reference that looks unfinished. What is actually happening in this market is that several operator sites answer a request from outside Ghana with a block page, so the cells they cannot fill are ours to explain rather than theirs to answer for.
Four figures that can be read against each other
A margin computed across a whole football book and a margin computed from one round of a top league are different quantities wearing the same percentage sign, and the second is always the flattering one. These are the entries whose figure covers a full book.
- betPawa
- 5.08% across every football market the book published when it was read.
- SportyBet
- 6.12% across every football market the book published when it was read.
- Betwinner
- 6.70% across every football market the book published when it was read.
- 1xBet
- 6.71% across every football market the book published when it was read.
Even inside one book the spread is enormous. The same operator can price a major European league at a fraction of the figure above and a friendly at several times it, so a median across the whole book is the only summary that survives being quoted, and a single-fixture number should never be quoted as a book’s margin at all.
How long this holds
A cashier setting or a price. It was true when it was read and nothing stops an operator changing it next month without announcing it.
Every thread on this domain carries one of four classes, and the classes are set out in full on shelf life. This one is seasonal: treat it as good for months from 2026-08-09.

Questions this shelf gets asked
- Why is this thread not sorted best to worst?
- Because sorting it would turn a reference into a recommendation, and on several of these fields the underlying figures were not produced on a common basis. The order here is the index order, which is the alphabet, so a reader can find a book by name without scanning.
- What does an italic cell mean?
- That nothing was filed. The words say which kind of nothing: not published means the operator states nothing, and not filed means this index could not establish it. Those are different claims and merging them would put words into a company’s mouth.
- Does this page cover unlicensed sites too?
- No. Every entry here holds an authorisation from the Gaming Commission of Ghana. Sites operating without one accept Ghanaian players and this index does not carry them, which means the 13 answers above describe the licensed market rather than the whole market.
