What the numbers above are and are not
A store rating is scoped to a country. The same application reads differently one border away, and a good part of the ratings quoted for Ghanaian betting applications are the neighbouring market’s figure carried across without anybody noticing. Where a rating is filed above, it is the Ghana storefront’s own.
A download size belongs to one platform’s build and not the other, and the two differ by multiples rather than by a rounding. That is why several of these cards carry a rating and no size: pairing an Android rating with an iPhone binary would be a category error dressed as a specification.
This one has a real store listing, which is more useful than it sounds. A listing carries a publisher name, and a publisher name can be held against the company on the Gaming Commission register. Where the two do not match, or where a listing carries another country’s licence statement, that is a finding rather than a detail.

- Is the Betway app safe to install?
- This index does not test software and will not tell anybody an application is safe. What it files is checkable: which platforms it exists on, whether it is served through a store or straight from a website, and which company the listing names. A reader can hold that last name against the Gaming Commission register themselves, which is a more honest answer than a badge.
- Why is there no rating or size for some of these apps?
- Because the figure available belongs to another country or another platform. A rating from a neighbouring market and a binary size from the other operating system are both easy to find and both wrong here, so the field is left unanswered rather than filled with something that looks right.
- Do I need the app, or is the mobile site enough?
- For most of this register the site does everything the application does. One book on the register has verified no application at all and points its customers at the browser, which is a perfectly ordinary way to run a betting product on a phone. Where an application matters is data use and notifications rather than access.
